How to call a 90-ball game with traditional bingo calls

  1. Spin the 90-ball machine

Press Spin (or tap the space bar on a computer) to draw a random number between 1 and 90 and light it up on the board.

  2. Say the call, then the number

Say the call first and the number second, like “Two little ducks, twenty-two”, so players have a beat to find it.

  3. Check a line or a house

When someone shouts “Line!” or “House!”, check their numbers against the board.

  4. Reset for the next game

Press “Start again” to put all 90 balls back in the machine for the next game.

For the board alone on a big screen, open the 90-ball bingo caller. Tombingo events let everyone play a 90-ball ticket on their mobile with a shared hall screen, free for up to 20 tickets. Frequently asked questions

Why do British bingo calls go from 1 to 90 instead of 1 to 75?

British bingo is played with 90 balls and tickets of 3 rows by 9 columns with 15 numbers each, while American bingo uses 75 balls on a 5 × 5 card under B-I-N-G-O. The caller and the calls list on this page cover the full 1 to 90 British game.

Does the voice read out the calls or just the numbers?

Just the numbers. With “Read numbers aloud” on, a voice says the number itself, for example “66”. Calling “Clickety click!” is up to you as the host.

Are all 90 calls on this list suitable for schools and family events?

Yes. We kept the classic rhymes and old nicknames and swapped the cheeky pub calls for clean, family-friendly ones.

Is this tool or Tombingo used for gambling?

No. This page and Tombingo are entertainment tools for group events at schools, clubs, workplaces and family gatherings. They don’t handle bets, stakes or money between players.
