How to run the online bingo machine

  1. Press Spin

Or the space bar on a computer. The number comes out big next to the machine on screen.

  2. Call it out

Read it yourself, or turn on “Read numbers aloud” and the browser calls it for you.

  3. Check the claim

When someone calls a line or a full house, check their ticket against the board.

  4. Next game

“Start again” puts all 90 balls back in the machine.

Calling balls or printing sheets is the easy part. The hard part, in a packed room, is checking who won without stalling the night.

Hosting a big group, or bringing remote players in?

This free tool is all you need for a small game around the table. But when you run a bingo night for 30, 100 or 300 people, three problems show up that a stand-alone tool cannot solve:

  1. The pause when someone calls bingo. When someone shouts "Bingo!", you stop everything and check the numbers by eye while the room waits in silence.

  2. Players on mobiles or far away. Guests in another city, or people who would rather not use paper, have no way to mark their cards live.

  3. You never know who is about to win. You lose the fun of announcing how many people are waiting on a single ball.

  • Cards on every mobile

Each player opens the event link and sees their card with the called numbers marked automatically, in the hall or at home.

  • Claims checked by the console

Type the card number and Tombingo tells you whether the claim is valid and which numbers are still missing.

  • A screen for the projector

The bingo machine and the board full screen on a projector or TV, with no chat and no player details.

  • Raffles among the cards

Between games, the console picks a random card number from the cards in play.

  • Live video, sold separately

Stream the hall to people playing from home. It’s optional and paid separately, with a pass or the Organiser plan; the free plan doesn’t include it.

A machine with nothing to carry

A hired or hand-cranked machine means setup, storage and a trip to collect it. This one lives in a browser tab. Open it on a laptop or tablet and the draw, board and sound are all there.

Every spin uses your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, on your own device. No number repeats in a game, and after the 90th the button tells you the machine is empty.

For the hall, the pub quiz or the club night

Plug the laptop into the venue’s screen or projector and the board does the work of a big tumbler display. If you also need tickets, the bingo ticket generator prints books of 6, free.

Bigger nights, or players calling in

This free machine suits a room where everyone can see the screen. For a bigger do, or guests joining from home, Tombingo’s console runs the draw with a hall screen and cards that mark themselves on each player’s phone. Its events use 75-ball cards (5 × 5) rather than 90-ball tickets.

Tombingo is free for up to 30 cards per event, with passes from USD 9 for bigger nights. See the prices or the Tombingo home page.

Frequently asked questions

Does the bingo machine repeat numbers?

No. Each number comes out once per game, and “Start again” puts them all back.

Do I need to buy or hire any equipment?

No. The machine runs on a laptop, tablet or phone you already have, with no extra hardware.

Can I put it on a projector or a pub TV?

Yes. Open this page on the device plugged into the screen, and zoom in with the browser if the room is big.

Will I lose the game if the page reloads?

No, as long as it’s the same browser. Called numbers stay saved there until you press Start again.

Is this machine used for gambling?

No. It’s an entertainment tool for group events. It doesn’t take stakes, handle money or pay anything out.
