The essentials
- Tombingo is entertainment software for group events, for fun and leisure.
- Tombingo does not offer, organise or operate gambling, betting or lotteries, and it does not receive or manage bets or prizes.
- Anyone who uses the tool for a game of chance or with betting does so under their sole responsibility: they must comply with the laws of their jurisdiction (permits, licences, taxes and age) and are liable for any consequence.
- What you pay for is the use of the software, not participation in any game.
What Tombingo is
Tombingo is entertainment software for group events, for fun and leisure: bingo nights for foundations, parishes, schools, companies and groups of friends, in a hall, remotely, or both at once.
The software helps the organiser create the event, generate numbered cards, share a link with participants, show the balls called in the hall and accompany the night with chat and video. The organiser runs the drawing; Tombingo only mirrors it on screen.
What Tombingo is not
Tombingo does not offer, organise or operate gambling, betting or lotteries. It does not sell cards to players, does not receive money from participants and does not receive or manage bets or prizes.
Tombingo is not a casino or an online gambling service. The rounds, patterns and winners shown are part of an entertainment activity defined by the event organiser.
Your responsibility as an organiser
Whoever creates an account, an organisation or an event is responsible for how they use Tombingo and how they run their event.
If you choose to use the tool for a game of chance, with betting, with card sales or with prizes, you do so under your sole responsibility. You must comply with the laws of your jurisdiction, including permits, licences, taxes and the minimum age of participants, and you are liable for any legal, tax or other consequence.
If your event raises funds for a cause, the fundraising, its use and its accountability are yours.
What you pay for
What you pay for is the use of the software: a per-event pass that raises the number of cards for that event, or a plan for the organisation. You never pay to take part in any game.
You can use the free plan to prepare and rehearse an event without paying, up to the card limit shown on the pricing page.
Accounts and organisations
To organise you need an account with an email and a password. Keep your password private; what is done with your account is your responsibility.
Whoever creates an organisation can invite other people as co-admins. Each organisation owns its events, its cards and its content.
Participants join with their name through the event link and do not need an account.
Acceptable use
Do not use Tombingo for illegal activities, to mislead participants, to run betting or lotteries without the permits your jurisdiction requires, or to publish offensive or discriminatory content or content that infringes third-party rights (for example, logos you do not own).
Do not try to access other people’s accounts or events, interfere with the service or automate its use abusively.
We may suspend accounts, organisations or events that breach these terms.
Payments and refunds
Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars (USD) before you pay and may include taxes depending on your country.
A per-event pass applies to the chosen event and cannot be moved to another event. The organisation plan renews every year until you cancel it; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.
If a charge was a mistake or the service failed because of us, write to us within 14 days and we will review a refund. Outside those cases payments are non-refundable, unless the law of your country says otherwise.
Limitation of liability
Tombingo is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running well during your event, but we do not guarantee that it is free of interruptions or errors, or that each person’s internet connection or video will work.
To the extent the law allows, Tombingo is not liable for indirect damages, lost revenue or lost fundraising, or for claims arising from how an organiser runs their event, the prizes they offer or the use of the software for gambling or betting. Our total liability is limited to what you paid for the service in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When they change in a meaningful way we will publish a new dated version and ask you to accept it again when you register, create an event or pay.
